Metelco Partners with UK-Based Multimedia Communication Specialist

Metelco, a value-added distributor of communication software solutions based in Duba, entered into a partnership with Cambridge-based multimedia communication specialist, C3, to add to its existing solutions offering.

Metelco, which specializes in the provision of communication software applications, will now be adding C3's Apcentia Network Messaging platform and Fusion Contact Centre to its selective product portfolio.

Officials with C3 said the Network Messaging is a powerful solution that enables Mobile Networks Operators (MNO) and Virtual MNOs to deliver superior voice messaging services and easily deploy other revenue-generating applications, thereby increasing legacy streams and introducing new VAS revenue streams, at the same time as improving the customer experience and reducing churn.

C3’s Fusion Contact Centre platform is designed to give organizations complete control over their entire contact center operation. The Web-based solution is simple to use, and enables anyone to define and easily manipulate IVR services to meet business’ precise requirements.

Fusion supports inbound/outbound SMS and integrates with most social networks and office systems to ensure that all customer communications are gathered, and can be responded to systematically.

"We have a strong focus on the applications provision at Metelco, which puts us in a unique position as a specialized distributor for communication software solutions," said Raad Jaboori Al-Shaikh, managing director of Metelco, in a statement.

Al-Shaikh said C3's Network Messaging platform and Fusion Contact Centre fit perfectly with the current Metelco product offering and the company sees a number of opportunities ahead as it promotes these solutions to the current database of customers.
